Sirenz - About Sirenz

Sirenz is a dance troupe based in Bristol consisting of a growing number of women and men who love performing and dancing. Sirenz was formed when two of its members split from an existing dance troupe, but wanted to continue performing.

So Lorraine and Michelle began planning and Lorraine got together enough friends who also shared her passion on the dance floor and the fun began. 3 dress makers were involved, two of which were also to be dancers and another very creative lady wanted to help out and perhaps dance part time and so 7 costume designs were created.

Each of the 8 girls involved produced designs and the finished costumes incorporate different parts from the total design input. The designs were then divided out between the dress makers so that each dress maker was to initially make 2 costumes.

It was a manic rush to get the first set of costumes out ready for our first gig at Halloween for a new night called Twisted Magic. The end result was fantastic and the girls hit the scene...
