Ripsnorter @ Trinity

Saturday 6th November 2004
Review by Siren Lorraine

After the success of Sirenz at Twisted Magic, we were asked to dance for Ripsnorter at Trinity. Performing on stage at Trinity has been something I´ve dreamed of doing for many years, so this night was always going to be something special for me.

The Sirenz dancers who attended were Michelle, Cat and myself. We arrived at Trinity as the doors were about to be opened, and headed out onto the dancefloor to energize the room as Dan Pearce played out a blinding first set.

The night itself was brilliant, the atmosphere was without a doubt the best I´ve seen at Ripsnorter for years and the Ripsnorter décor was beautiful.

I was invited to join the regular Ripsnorter dancer, Rob, on the main stage, which was wonderful; Rob really was a pleasure to dance with. We were soon joined on stage by the other Sirenz, and we all danced our way through Glenn Miller and Oberon´s sets, before us Sirenz headed off to brighten up the podiums with our performance as DJ Pod took to the decks.

I had an amazing time dancing at Trinity - the crowd was a pleasure to perform to and interact with, and I felt right at home on the stage and podiums. Weirdo was headlining, and his set was spectacular, he kept the whole room moving until his final tune finished. And what a way to end a fantastic event!
