666 @ Trinity CentreSaturday 11th December 2004 666 at Trinity was a spectacular night. The Sirenz dancers who attended were Lorraine, Michelle and Heather. Cat was due to be joining us, however, she broke her arm shortly before and so was unfortunately unable to come and dance. We arrived shortly after 10pm, and immediately took to the front of the dancefloor. The first set by Fisher paved the way for the night; hard and fast with a full on acid edge! I looked around me and noticed the amazing inflatables running across the ceiling, all yellow and orange spikes, and the UV backdrops around the main dancefloor were an array of orange and yellow flames, and I realised how perfectly we fitted in with the environment which was great. Eduardo Herrera followed Fisher and kept up the pace with ease; the whole room was loving every minute. At midnight, Martian took to the decks and we were not disappointed. I took to the back of the room for a while to enjoy the cooler air whilst dancing through another amazing set! Next Sean Rudz played a brilliant set, with the perfect mix of acid and hard psy-trance, which had me bouncing around, grinning like a loon! Lab 4 then took to the stage for their live show, which was utterly fantastic. The energy they put into it is wonderful. The music was so intense you could actually feel it vibrating through your entire body... Acid Ted took the last slot of the night, and did a brilliant job at keeping the room moving with his set. In the last 15 minutes of his set, he played a particular bootleg which has been a personal favourite of mine for years: DJ Misjah & DJ Tim - Access & Bump - I´m Rushing. I stood there and let the tune move through me as I danced, it was the perfect way to round off the night for me. To view more photos from this night please click here |
