Sacred Bull Goes Camping Festival @ CornwallSaturday 27th August 2005 to Sunday 28th August 2005 Most Bank Holiday weekends you would find me lolling around taking it easy. Not this weekend though! This weekend myself, Siren Lorraine and our newest recruit Nancy headed down to Cornwall to take part in the Sacred Bull Goes Camping Festival. At first the weather wasn't that great with overcast skies and a pretty hectic rain shower. When we finally headed away from the shelter of our tents on Saturday early afternoon, we were greeted by beautiful rays of sunshine seeping through a grey and angry looking sky. The main rig was situated at the bottom of a very steep hill and as the thud of psy-trance drifted up the hill us Sirenz made their decent on the party turning heads and bringing smiles. At first the party goers were a little scattered in the immense fields but the music was kicking all day long and it soon attracted the storm hiders from their tents and onto the dance floor! Plenty of smiley people, beautiful outfits and fantastic music lead to a manic weekend of fun laughter and lots of stomping. As well as the main stage there was a breaks stage, live stage, geodesic dome which a mixture of funky beats and live vocals, plenty of stalls and a couple of cafe's banging out the music all night long. The most memorable sets for me were by Tron, Lettis, Ood and many more acts which I unfortunately didn't know the names of. Although the festival seemed a little un-organised at times, the great vibe, good location and multitude of lovely people lead to a fantastic weekend. Us Sirenz had a wonderful time getting dressed up and dancing on both the Saturday and the Sunday. We are really looking forward to joining in the fun again next year!
