Twisted Toadstool @ The Black Swan

The Sirenz met again at the Blackswan on the 11th of Feb, their next mission was to bring even more love and light to the dance floor for Twisted Toadstool.

The Sirenz out to play this time were Lorraine, Michelle, Kerry and Beccy. Boy did we glow brightly in the beautiful UV decor.

Once at the Blackswan we rallied up and set off to dance, downstairs Borris opened up with an awesome set of quality tunes followed by Allaby. After dancing in the main room it was time to move upstairs where we found Stu spinning some upbeat chill in the chill room and Dr Psy kicking out utter filth on the dancefloor.

Time for a rest, the crewroom was behind the DJ decks for a good view and full of lovely food; grapes, lollipops, beer and friendly people. After a well deserved break and a good chat it was back to the upstairs dance foor. We were met by the seriously twisted tunes from Sean Rudz which had me bouncing around like a nutter. After a good dance there were plenty of UV shopping stalls to browse, lots of interesting clothing, jewelry and other knick knacks to be had. And outside we could watch the fire poi spinners and jugglers next to the bonfire.

Back to the task in hand we ventured for the chill room, on the decks was a nervous DaRabbi playing his first ever set, which had us swaying away until it was time to catch the end of Dickster back in the downstairs room. Even though it was the end of the night, there were still loads of people with bags of energy left giving it their all. It was a great end to the night and we were treated to a good twenty minute encore!

A massive thanks to the Freefall crew and Toadstool crew for inviting us to boogie on down with the Natterjacks, we had a night to remember and look forward to more!
