Sacred Bull 24 Hour Extravaganza @ Oxfordshire

Saturday 26th August 2006 to Sunday 27th August 2006
Review by Siren Lorraine

After dancing at the Sacred Bull Goes Camping festival last year, us Sirenz had been invited back to dance at the Sacred Bull 24 Hour Extravaganza party over the August Bank Holiday weekend. Last years festival was a lovely intimate affair so I was really looking forward to this party.

Sirenz dancing at this event were Lorraine, Michelle and Alice. Ian and Andy also joined us and took some brilliant photos and video footage.

Once arriving at the festival site, we found a nice place to set up our tents and finish getting ready. We were out and about in our costumes from about 4pm.

There were not many people on site throughout the day, it only really filled up in the evening. I would estimate there were only around 300-400 people on site throughout the event, it was a very small and intimate party.

We had a great time, we got lots of positive comments from people at the festival, and loads of people recognised us as the Sirenz dancers that were at last years Sacred Bull festival, even though we were wearing our new costumes this time!

The weather was changeable, although we didn’t really get any rain, other than a few spots for a couple of minutes in the evening, it was not as warm as it could have been because of the wind.

We danced around a lot and also met and chatted to some very nice people whilst there. The music was brilliant which made it very enjoyable to dance to.

We finally crashed out at around 6am, and headed to our tents for a few hours sleep.

It was a wonderful party and we are looking forward to the return of the Sacred Bull Goes Camping festival in 2007!
